Bronson Internal Medicine Associates

Not knowing what's wrong can be the hardest part of being sick. Our board certified internal medicine physicians are always learning about new tests and procedures for managing illnesses-and for preventing them.

What is Internal Medicine?
Internal medicine doctors (also called internists) solve puzzling diagnostic problems and treat serious chronic illnesses. They are specially trained to care for patients who have several illnesses at the same time. They treat only adult patients and do not provide surgical or obstetrical care.

Patients turn to us for:

  • Acute problems (like colds, flu, infections or abdominal pain)
  • Comprehensive physical exams
  • Chronic conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure)
  • Women's health
  • Men's health
  • Geriatric care
  • Preventive medicine and patient education

We also offer several specialty services:

  • Dermatology procedures, including excision, cryosurgery and removal of skin lesions and moles
  • Bone Densitometry (a painless test of bone strength)
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Treatment for acute asthma attacks
  • EKG

Internal medicine doctors take a holistic, family-centered approach to patient care. When needed, they refer to specialists and coordinate your treatment to make sure your needs are being met.

Our office has won the Governor's Award of Excellence for Improving Care in the Ambulatory Care Setting four times for preventive care for Medicare patients.

We Welcome New Patients - Sick or Well
When you are sick, we will do our best to give you an appointment the same day you call. If the provider you request is not available or your problem is urgent, another provider will be glad to see you. We have on-site lab and X-ray services for your convenience.
